We want to make sure all parents, coaches and workers are aware as to how we communicate the field status at Civitan Park and Crockett Park so below provides those details. We recommend you follow us on Twitter for the most up to date info as on a weekend, we may tweet a few times on updates. And once games start in the evening, we may or may not have access to send an email blast. Our Twitter account is “@bwoodcivitan”.

For Civitan Park, our park is located behind Lipscomb Elementary. Our field and club personnel do not have access to the park during the week until 4:00PM. Recent safety measures magnify this access so please be aware of the timing. Here are our three steps in the order they will occur, each around 4:00PM during the week:

1.       We will tweet Civitan Park is closed when applicable. See item #2 for timing.

2.       We will update the “field status” link on our website. We will only update a field change (i.e. open to closed from previous day, closed to open from the previous day).

3.       If the park will be closed, we will send an email blast. We will not send an email blast to note we are open.

Our Saturday status for Civitan Park will be made around 7:30AM while our Sunday update will occur around 11:00AM.

For Crockett Park, the city of Brentwood will update their hotline (615-373-7752), typically around 4:00PM during the week and around 8:00AM on the weekends. As soon as we know the updates, we will tweet, update the field status on the website and send a blast if closed.
