Coaching Evaluation Survey
One of the ongoing commitments of the Framingham United Soccer Club Board of Directors is to provide our children with the best coaching possible. Precisely what qualifies a coach as “an excellent coach” depends, to a large degree, upon the age of the players and qualities within the coach. A great coach at the high school level may not be able to relate to 6 year olds. A coach who played at high levels is not necessarily a good teacher. In fact, the coach of an undefeated team may be doing damage to his player’s abilities and psychological fitness. We strive to find, train and retain coaches who understand their players, the environment and who are qualified to teach the great game of soccer.
This form may be filled out by a player, a parent or guardian or a combination of a player and parent or guardian. The results of this form are CONFIDENTIAL and will only be seen by the FUSC Board of Directors, Playing Age Directors and the coaches. UNLESS YOU SPECIFY OTHERWISE, THE INFORMATION SHARED WITH THE COACHES WILL BE ANONYMOUS. It will be used to review current and potential coaches applying to coach for the upcoming seasons and as feedback for improvement. Please help us to assess the abilities of those who coached your children. The feedback we receive will help us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of our coaches, as well as the program as a whole.
At the end of the form, we will ask you to identify yourself so that we can gauge, and reward, participation. Your identity and your evaluation are not linked in any way so that you may, if you wish, remain anonymous. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback!
