Our Framingham United Soccer Club is proud to host the 27th Annual Memorial Day Sportsmanship Classic.  The Memorial Day Sportsmanship Classic is a competitive tournament held each year for many teams who come from all over New England and New York.  We changed the name some years back to include “Sportsmanship” as we are dedicated and strive to showcase top quality play with an emphasis on being good sports.  An award is given to one team in each division of every level for the team who displays the best attitude and sportsmanship during the tournament.

Our experienced and well-organized tournament committee also is regularly complimented by those who play in the tournament each year.  They and all our volunteers are dedicated to making your club’s participation here an enjoyment for all.  In 2007, we provided quality, competitive play for 124 teams.  Come experience our tournament this year and welcome back to many of our returning participants!  We look forward to seeing you this year.

Our tournament has a hotel coordinator who holds blocks of discounted hotel rooms for our tournament teams. <Click here for hotel reservation assistance>.   Framingham, MA is easy to get to with 2 exits on the Massachusetts Turnpike.  The town is a regional center with excellent shopping, a newly expanded Natick Mall renovation (Natick Collection), restaurants and hotels.  It has great access to Boston for after-game touring.  The Framingham United Soccer Club invites you to share in what we know will be a great tournament experience for you and your players this Memorial Day.

Our tournament will be accepting both girls’ and boys’ soccer teams in the following age groups:  U9, U10, U11, U12, U14, U16 and U18.  Our tournament is a patch tournament where teams will exchange their club patch with another player of the opposing team after each game.
