Merchant Road Field Complex
From Route 9
Entering Framingham from the east: Take Worcester Road (Route 9) westbound to Route 126 southbound. Follow Route 126 (Concord Street) south through Downtown Framingham past Waverly Street (Route 135) to Irving Street, which is at the rotary just south of Waverly Street. Turn left on Irving Street and continue to the third traffic signal. At the signal (The Fire Department Headquarters is on the far side of the intersection), turn left to continue on Irving Street (The Fire Department Headquarters will be on your right after the turn). Irving Street ends at the Leland Street/Western Avenue intersection. Bear to the right onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Avenue past MCI Framingham. At the far side of the prison, Western Avenue turns right into the prison and Merchant Road continues straight. The fields are on the right after you cross Course Brook.
Entering Framingham from the west: Take Worcester Road (Route 9) eastbound to the Framingham State College/Edgell Road/Main Street exit. The exit is located approximately 0.7 miles from the signal at Temple Street (Stop & Shop, Friendly's). At the signal at the end of the exit turn right onto Main Street which will lead you directly into Union Avenue. Follow Union Avenue to the end at Downtown Framingham. Turn right onto Concord Street (Route 126). Follow Concord Street (Route 126) south past Waverly Street (Route 135) to Irving Street, which is at the rotary just south of Waverly Street. Turn left on Irving Street and continue to the third traffic signal. At the signal (The Fire Department Headquarters is on the far side of the intersection), turn left to continue on Irving Street (The Fire Department Headquarters will be on your right after the turn). Irving Street ends at the Leland Street/Western Avenue intersection. Bear to the right onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Avenue past MCI Framingham. At the far side of the prison, Western Avenue turns right into the prison and Merchant Road continues straight. The fields are on the right after you cross Course Brook.
From Route 135
Entering Framingham from the east: Take Waverly Street (Route 135) to Dennison Crossing (Waverly Street/Bishop Street/Beaver Street intersection. Turn left onto Beaver Street. After about 200 feet, bear right at the first intersection onto Blandin Avenue. Follow Blandin Avenue to the end and turn left onto Irving Street and follow to the next traffic signal. At the signal (The Fire Department Headquarters is on the far side of the intersection), turn left to continue on Irving Street (The Fire Department Headquarters will be on your right after the turn). Irving Street ends at the Leland Street/Western Avenue intersection. Bear to the right onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Avenue past MCI Framingham. At the far side of the prison, Western Avenue turns right into the prison and Merchant Road continues straight. The fields are on the right after you cross Course Brook.
